Restaurant with a story

Step behind the scenes at The Wildebeest. Here we'll share with you a taste of news behind the stove, on our farm and in our restaurant.

Psst  have you heard the news?

Have you heard about our newest venue Warwick St Social  which is now open.

Easy to find and within walking distance of all Norwich's main thoroughfares, Warwick St Social is the perfect meeting place for social get-togethers with social zones and bespoke spaces for casual gatherings, informal dining and private hire across two floors, and interiors designed by London-based designer Kathryn Mazure-Hudson.

By day, WSS is a low key spot ideal for a lazy breakfast with the newspapers, a lunchtime tipple and maybe a social bite or an afternoon stop-and-chat with the choice to settle into the snug, experience the private dining areas, grab a drink at the 'social table' or enjoy the best kept secret in the Golden Triangle - the large outside Terrace.

The best nights out in Norwich start and end at Warwick Street Social and after dark things get warmer as dining guests and neighbourhood friends arrive to soak up the scene deep into the night. The bar at WSS has an expansive list of spirits with world travelled wines and twists on traditional cocktails, all lovingly curated by the WSS team.

Beyond the bar, there are adventures in food with exciting experiences for foodies where Chef Patron Daniel Smith has been commissioned to contribute classic dishes with a modern twist. A seasonal approach with unrivalled fresh fruit and veg grown on Our Farm, locally-sourced meat and fish, artisan breads baked twice daily on site and ice creams made from scratch.  The full menu offering covers breakfast, causal daytime dining, dinner and Sunday Lunch is an entity of its own. WSS is the city address day and night, open 7 days a week.

We'd love to see you there!
